PayAnalytics - July 2026 feature release notes
This article lists the updates made available to users in the PayAnalytics application in July 2026.
Employee subgroup reflected in right to request reports
Under the EU Pay Transparency Directive, an employee can ask how their pay compares with others doing equal work, and that answer is only meaningful when it is measured against the right comparison group. In PayAnalytics, a pay equity analysis can be split into subgroups, which produces a parent analysis alongside a separate child analysis for each subgroup. Until now, opening an employee's right-to-request pay transparency report from the parent analysis always showed the parent view, even when the employee belonged to a subgroup that had its own child analysis.
We have made the report open on an employee's own child-subgroup analysis whenever one exists, so HR analysts and HR Business Partners see figures that reflect the employee's real comparison group rather than the broader parent population. Employees whose subgroup was not analyzed separately continue to open the parent report, so nothing changes where there is no child analysis. The result is a more accurate and defensible answer when an employee exercises their right to request pay information.
