PayAnalytics - June 2025 Feature Release
This article lists the updates made available to users in the PayAnalytics platform in June 2025.
Compensation model updates & new "Pay Gaps" tab
Improved organization of pay equity analysis results
This new version of the PayAnalytics application introduces a clearer separation of insights by dividing the compensation model results into two dedicated tabs: "Compensation Model" and "Pay Gaps".
This update establishes a distinction between the structure of the compensation model and the identified gaps, laying the groundwork for deeper, more targeted insights in the coming months. While the data remains the same, the new layout is designed to support future enhancements and make it easier to focus on each concept individually.
"Compensation Model" tab
The Compensation model tab now focuses solely on how compensation is structured within your organization. It includes:
Compensation drivers: key factors used to explain pay (job role, location, etc.).
Numerical variables: breakdown of numerical variables included in the model, (such as years of experience or number of direct reports).
Compensation for base values: predicted salary for a hypothetical employee who has the base (i.e. reference) values for each compensation driver.
R-squared explanation: measure of how well the model fits the data, indicating how much variation in pay it explains.
Regression results: detailed view of model coefficients and other statistical outputs.
This tab helps organizations determine whether they are using the right compensation drivers or whether or not the model correctly reflects their compensation philosophy.

"Pay gaps" tab
This newly added tab consolidates all insights related to pay disparities. It supports focused analysis by providing:
Progression from unadjusted to adjusted pay gap: evolution of the unadjusted pay gap to the adjusted pay gab as variables are incorporated into the pay equity model.
Categorical variable breakdowns: breakdown of pay gaps across the organization’s categories (department, job role, grade, etc.).
Pay gaps by group: this section helps organization choose to close gaps by group during raise planning, see how gaps play out within each group.
Pay gap breakdowns by other groups: this section helps organizations explore how pay gaps manifest across additional groups that were not included as variables in the compensation model. For example, breakdowns by location, job level, or contract type might be visible, even if these factors weren't part of the regression model.
These views support key equity questions by helping organizations identify where the most significant pay gaps exist and which groups are most affected by these disparities.

New "Not between" filter for numerical columns
This release introduces a new filter Not between filter for numerical columns to help identify values that fall outside of a defined range.
Users can enter a minimum and maximum value to filter out rows that fall outside the selected range, with use cases including highlighting employees outside a defined Position in Range and tailoring thresholds to better analyze employee data, giving users greater control when exploring compensation data.
The following figure illustrates the new filter in the pay equity analysis:

"Close by groups" feature update - Raises for underpaid employees in reference groups
Previously, employees belonging to the reference group were not assigned raises, even when they were underpaid. From now on, when closing gaps by group, if the reference group is underpaid within a particular group, those employees will also receive raises based on our algorithm.
At this stage, the change is not yet visible in the user interface. In the coming months, further enhancements will be introduced to make it easier to filter, sort, and view these updates directly in the application.
Direct access to reports from the homepage
To offer users a better, more intuitive experience in the PayAnalytics platform, access to reports has now been made easier than ever thanks to a dedicated Reports card that allows quicker navigation, helping users reach their data in fewer clicks than ever.
