System parameters
While most configuration options for running analyses are set each time you perform an analysis, there are a few key system settings that can be configured in advance. These settings can have a significant impact on your results and ensure consistency across analyses. To access the settings page, from the main navigation bar, select System, and then System parameters.
Raise suggestions
You can define what should be the minimum number of employees in a demographic for the system to suggest raises targeted toward closing the pay gap. For example, if you have 5 employees who have not reported their gender, and 100 male employees, with a pay gap favoring the "Not reported" group, the system will not suggest raises for the 100 male employees. These situations require a manual review, or you can adjust this threshold to your preferences, allowing you to control the minimum size of these demographic groups. Raise suggestions section is presented in the following picture:

Initial values for raise suggestions parameters
When running an analysis, you can control what the algorithms should focus on when closing pay gaps. Here you can set the default values you wish to use, and when running the analysis, you can also edit the raise parameters if preferred, as shown on the following illustration:

For more information on how to adjust the parameters for raise suggestions when running an analysis, see Getting suggested remediation actions.
Value-based comparison
You can decide the default settings for the Value-based comparison page. You can set the default aggregate to use for compensation, the percentage that defines the demographic predominance of groups, which sections should be displayed, and the comparison method to use in them. Additionally, we provide a list of presets matching the requirements in countries and areas that legally require analysis of equal pay for work of equal value. Value-based comparison section is illustrated in the following picture:

Default reference analysis for Compensation Assistant
Finally, you can define a default reference analysis for the Compensation Assistant. This ensures that a specific analysis is automatically selected as the reference analysis for users when they access the tool.
While you may still be able to choose other analyses based on their access settings, selecting a default reference analysis will ensure that this analysis is always pre-selected and displayed as the reference by default. The Default reference analysis for Compensation Assistant section is illustrated in the following picture:
